ankydyn gallery invites the Romanian Cultural Institute’s guests to explore, linger, and experience the vibrant visual dialogue between 31 photographs by 31 individual photographers.

The selection, curated by Raluca Anchidin, spans global perspectives and varied subject matter, from street scenes and abstraction to portraiture and environmental reflections and will be displayed alongside the institute’s Spring Exhibit: HERS | A Celebration of Women Creativity.

The journey of this collection began during Art Basel Week 2025, as part of a larger display organized by ankydyn gallery at the Satellite Art Fair in Miami Beach. 

“I wanted to give these works an opportunity to be seen together in New York, too - in a different setting than the reinvented art deco hotel room, where we offered a “record rack browsing” type of experience, says Anchidin, who co-founded ankydyn gallery with artist Paul O’Malley. I also hoped to have many of the artists meet each other. What better place than a cultural center that promotes artistic events like this one with the aim of supporting a diverse creative community.”
