Liam Otero

As a lifelong student of Art History and History, Liam Otero always found that the best way to understand what a particular place was like at a specific time was through its visual culture: Art & Architecture, Film & Television, Home Movies, Archival Footage, Advertising, Photojournalism, Fashion, Decorative Arts, etc.

Additionally, he believes the travelogue is a grossly underappreciated film genre that has so much merit in giving viewers a sense of place. Subsequently, he  decided to create an ongoing series focused on highlighting individual cities. One caveat is that it shows the respective city in a certain year.
