Andrée Brown is a New York-based sculptor whose work explores the delicate intersections of nature, abstraction, and emotional resonance. Working primarily in bronze, porcelain, and wax, she creates minimal, organic forms inspired by plant life—leaves, stems, and buds—often distilled to their essence. Her sculptures invite close attention and evoke a quiet reverence for the natural world, reflecting both its fragility and resilience. Whether cast in metal or modeled in wax, her pieces suggest growth, movement, and transformation, rooted in a deep ecological awareness.

Brown has exhibited widely across the Northeast and Midwest, with recent shows at Limner Gallery, WomensWork.Art, and the James Library & Art Center. She has also participated in residencies including ZFH in Durham, CT and ACEA Marnay in France, and was a 2023 Weir Farm National Park resident. Her work reflects a lifelong attention to subtlety, form, and the quiet power of the living world.
